There really is no better way to describe a Red Letter Day experience...moving effortlessly between a rollicking bluegrass tune on mandolin to a starkly dark tune performed on acoustic guitar and djembe, Red Letter Day balances out a show usually with a bit of harmonica, saxophone, percussion, and electric guitar all distinctly different in sound and delivery.
Oh...did we mention that it all happens with just two people?
Suzanna
Mallow and Andrea Jones have performed nationally for fifteen years as
Red Letter Day, with an edge bordering more on raw soul sharing due to
influences from a gospel, soul and blues/rock background. They have
performed with Dar Williams, Edwin McCain, Jann Arden, John Wesley
Harding, Little Feat and the BoDeans to name a few and at events with
the Indigo Girls, Melissa Etheridge and Elton John.

Red Letter Day primarily performs five to six shows per year in the Maryland/Delaware beach areas at this time. Suzanna's recording studio AMi Seagull Studios located at Salisbury University, Salisbury, MD and Andrea's work with the State of Maryland Department of Developmental Disablities, along with thier two young families now keep them more locally based.
